South Africa Money Supply Grew by 8.47 percent in September 2015

According to data released by the SA reserved bank Wednesday, money supply M3 in South Africa grew by 8.47 percent year-on-year to 2907991 ZAR million in September of 2015, slowing from a 10.02 percent rise in a month earlier and falling below market consensus. On another front, growth in private sector credit also slowed to 8.39 percent year-on-year, after reaching a 8.6 percent rise in August 2015. Money Supply M3 in South Africa averaged 557452.74 ZAR Million from 1965 until 2015, reaching an all time high of 2909254 ZAR Million in July of 2015 and a record low of 4796 ZAR Million in March of 1965.
